Boston Ballet Launches Online Content Center ÜNI

Boston Ballet recently launched its latest creative venture with the launch of ÜNI, a free online performance content center for all. Artistic director Mikko Nissinen wants to bring ballet to a wider audience and has chosen a digital path to get there.
 
 "We wanted to have a platform that would offer free dance to a wider audience," shares Nissinen with Dance Informa. “We're not trying to commercialize it, we're just hoping to put the dance in front of people who wouldn't otherwise come across it. What if there was a place where you could have a small piece of art to help you reflect? "
