The Fantastic Toyshop

​The Fantastic Toyshop is being presented by New England Ballet Theatre.

The Fantastic Toyshop, New England Ballet Theatre's unique holiday ballet, is proudly being presented throughout this holiday season. The play, now in its second year, has expanded to include a new snow scene and costumes designed by Fiona Connolly for NEBT. Dancers from the professional company and students from The School of NEBT are included in the cast.

The Fantastic Toyshop, a dance piece by artistic and executive director Rachael Gnatowski, depicts a young girl named Virginia and her mother on Christmas Eve in 1943. Virginia is determined to make this holiday special despite the fact that her father is overseas fighting. Join her as she visits a toy store dedicated to the neighborhood where she encounters fantastic dancing dolls.
