Current Women: 21st-Century Dance, a 92-page shading book, feels like the remedy to a COVID-19 winter. Made by Brooklyn-based dance picture taker Julie Lemberger, the book honors this age of amazing and innovative ladies artists. Lemberger, similar to every other person, had time to burn when New York's theaters, studios and dance organizations shut their entryways in the wake of the pandemic. She has been pointing her camera at artists in New York for almost thirty years, yet out of nowhere her timetable was unfilled.
