Focusing Light's Creations of a Caged Bird

Focusing Light is excited to declare the debut few days of Creations of a Caged Bird Friday September 25th at 7:30pm EST and Sunday September 27th at 4:30pm EST. It will be a creative shared expressions venture between detained individuals and expert specialists. Imprisoned people made works over an assortment of aesthetic classifications - move, verse, papers, visual craftsmanship, talks, tunes, and expressed word - and were matched with an expert craftsman who made a film creation of their work.

Manifestations of a Caged Bird is the debut of these 18 short movies, highlighting Broadway entertainers and specialists from the nation over. One of these movies presents another piece by one of Shining Light's delivered members, Naomi Blount Wilson. Naomi's lifelong incarceration was as of late drove in the wake of serving 37 years. She currently works for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections as a Commutations Specialist, helping other detained individuals set up their applications for replacement.
