The Brigadoon Express Arrives With More Than 50 Dancers

​For more than 25 years, Brigadoon Dance Academy in Nanaimo, British Columbia, has made Highland dancing synonymous with the festive season.

Since the business' founding in 1995, Brigadoon Dance Academy, which specializes in Highland dance, has hosted an annual holiday event. This year's show, The Brigadoon Express, which was influenced by the holiday movie The Polar Express, features more than 50 dancers.

The event features Annalise Lam from Brigadoon Dance Academy, who earlier this year at the Cowal Gathering in Dunoon, Scotland, won the title of Junior World Champion in Highland dance. On December 11 in Nanaimo, British Columbia, The Port Theatre will host The Brigadoon Express.
