Getting into the Olympics in 2024

The president of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, only intended to watch the new competition for a short period of time when it premiered at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires.
Instead, he stayed throughout the entire performance, mesmerized by the young dancers' incredible maneuvers, the music's addictive pace, and the enthusiastic applause of the audience.


Moises "Moy" Rivas, a well-known Houston breaker who served as a judge at the Youth Games, says, "To have the face of the IOC believe in what was going on and what the athletes were expressing was a change in direction for us."
We are incredible dancers and athletes, but this is rarely acknowledged.
