She moved to P.E.I. to pursue dance in Holland College's performing arts program, graduated in 2019, and made the brave decision to stay. Oleksandr Shapoval, a former main dancer for the organization and a professor at Kyiv State Choreographic College, passed away, according to the National Opera of Ukraine, which made the announcement with "indescribable sadness."
